Both played out of position again. Clyne has been good, imo, as a bloody right back! Can fills in at cb, but Bodgers insists on plating him there as default now. But anyway, we could go through the whole team and waste time, just be aware that Origi has the drive of Berbatov and the finishing skills of Heskey. The only true goalscorer we have in the squad is Studge, but Ings tries hard at making the hard look easy, and the easy look difficult, and Coutinho is the only flair we have with cutting edge - Lallana is the epitome of airy-fairy.

This is what Lallana does - he will score a goal or get an assist. But he'll nothing else in the game.

You seem to really dislike can. Are you just jealous of his good looks?

This was one of those games where the opposition seem to have more players on the pitch than we do. They triple teamed every pass to one of our players which should mean that we have a couple unmarked but then the next pass saw that player triple teamed - where did they all come from <laugh>

Some of their challenges were iffy as well, to say the least.

Doing (did) my best to back Rodgers.. but this latest result along with the guff severed up so far this season and the ****e we had to sit through towards the end of last year.. think its the beginning of the end...
He plays players our of position..
He plays systems that don't suit our players..
There is no more pace/power in our play, yesterday we passed it at the back for 2/3 minutes, going no where, Sion had **** all to do and just sat back.
Could go on but unless we put in a decent performance against Everton, then the knifes will be out in full effect!
We play like we've done for the most part of this season, Everton will batter us and won't be close!

Put it this way: you take over Liverpool in Jan' and you can sell any player you want giving you @ £200m for the whole squad (yeah, I know, just play along). Every player you keep knocks £20m off that budget. Who would you keep? Coutinho, possibly Hendo, maybe Studge if you cross your fingers.... Benteke? Can? Perhaps. Is there truly anyone else in that heap that is vital? In fact, if you say vital you're only saying Ford, and if he's got any sense he'll be gone next season, if not January. And what is truly infuriating is that the Prem hasn't looked weaker for a generation - and we've not just sank with the equilibrium, we've limboed under the mediocre bar. And we're still only five points off the top!

Oh so send him on loan and keep the "better" player rossiter...sorry my mistake. Prick.

    #275
  16. Technically, Rossiter is the better player if Markovic isn't allowed on the pitch <laugh>

There isn't a great deal in it if they are both able to play!

I have been impressed with a lot of our kids to be honest. Which is why I'm so surprised we have been bulk buying in the past few transfers.
Surely a World class Gk, CM, DM and FWD would've been better. We could have spent 40m on each player. Had a world class spine and had the kids playing in the other positions.

Don't dislike him at all, I just feel some see far too much in him at this stage. He plays well for the German U21 team, but to suggest he shows anything like the talent some describe is wrong.
He is no leader yet either but could be at some time in the future, he has to learn that pointing and waving your arms at what players should doing only works if you are doing your own job well.
