He and Chazz hate United because, until now at least*, they're a nice little club who care about their fans. It makes them two's blood boil *and hopefully in the future despite JW leaving.
****ing hell. They dont register. What makes me and others laugh is silly ****s ****ing over a club that rebranded and did a name change to get new supporters. Kicking a long standing tenant off the ground in the process. Doubt you and most of the other ****ers going on about Hull United know who Hall Rd Rangers are and their long history on that ground.
To be fair, they have come up with some innovative ideas. For example, the free passes for all mean that fans can boycott the club without missing a home game.
Waltham bought the ground fair and square. Whatever price he paid was agreed with the previous owner. What more can you expect from him? Of course you're against that but don't mind at all when Allam kicks a load of people out of a venue he hasn't paid for, has no intention of working with the owners of and goes out of his way to avoid an amicable resolution to his problem as offered by the owners. What a surprise. Dress it up all you want. You both hate it because people enjoy it and it conflicts with your hero's model of running a football club with an iron fist, sacking people just to make a point and treating the fans like ****. It's exactly what some of us wanted and now we've got it you can't stand it.
I would think that for some small clubs, Hull United posed a big problem. We had it down here, two local clubs, one gets a big shiny new ground, even plays at Wembley in the FA Vase. The other struggles, but just keeps plodding along. One has been in financial difficulties for ages and sometimes comes close to folding, the other struggles but just keeps plodding along.
'common' word North, the sooner they change it to Ferriby and drop the 'North' the better! Don't the Allams know anything about marketing basics?
They already did it with the station. I remember calling rail enquiries many years ago and being told that there were no trains from North Ferriby to Hull.
