I think you'll find that's legal tender.

    "Fact is, we can now legally accept Euros. Clothes prices are now given in £ and Euros" Bollocks, it shows the euro price equivalent for tourists.

    Wishi's right - There are quire a few shops in the UK that accept euros - M&S, HMV, John Lewis, Body Shop, and W H Smiths other chains accept them in their shops located at ports and airports <ok>

    <laugh>

    General comment not just for Gerrez [in case you ask me later <laugh> ] ...... Just as an example, Liverpool is a destination for lots of Irish daytrippers, so for Liverpool shops not to accept euros would be mad.

    I did think if it was done as a jokey way would be quite funny.... If he did it as a strop for bein fined then it's just childish.

    Yeah. It's one of them where you pretend your going to do it and then stop and actually pay it properly... Sounds like he didn't do that and was just throwing a strop.

    Im surprised clubs just don't take it out of their wages automatically... Unless this goes into a 'fine kitty' which players and manager use for other things like Xmas party etc.

    He'll still be being paid on your payroll, as he's on loan. So that'll be why he's had to bring in the cash.

  13. I think taking it directly from their wages is another legal issue.

    I think just taking it would be one thing but if the player signed something to say they agree I imagine they would just take payment from their salary.

    I I imagine it's because he's on our payroll as tobes mentioned.

  15. And if the player doesn't sign to agree?
