Just wondering other people’s opinions. When I found out we had signed him I was not exactly over the moon about it, never particularly liked or rated him and he came from Leicester a team I can't say I'm overly fond of. However from someone who was ready not to like the fella in a hooped shirt I would admit he has probably been (in my opinion) our best defender this season, true out of a bad bunch.

Watched the infamous game against the Rupert’s in a pub and was somewhat surprised to hear a lad exclaiming that he is ****ing useless and shouldn't be in the team, and from bored time on the tiniterweb he is far from alone with this opinion. Whilst we all interpret the game differently and have differing views, I find this one a little baffling. So I thought it might be worth opening it up to the wonderful people of this forum.

Think Hall has been our best defender this season myself, would have given Kpekawa a chance when Konchesky looked rubbish at the start of the season.

Not quite sure why you don't like us as most of our fans I feel wish you well following the last couple of seasons banter. On Konchesky, he is a solid defender who'd mix perfectly with maybe some younger, less experienced defenders and can definitely do you a job getting back up. He is finished as far as premier league is concerned as he got done for pace so much. In terms of some of the older heads you've had recently (and we had under Sven) he has a great attitude and is a true professional so I'm sure all Leicester fans wish him well with you

I think he's been the better of the 2 backs at least from 4 games or so I have seen in their entirety and no worse than anyone else, except maybe Hall in the back 4. But as an experienced back it shouldn't have been difficult!

Not you personally, just have known a couple of fans and they have not represented your club well, guess I'm a little bitter how we get slaughtered for everything we do in the media, especially money wise, yet when other teams like Leicester spend a load of cash (was it 8-9 mill on Ulloa who was only going to decreciate at his age) not a bad word is mentioned and we are told you are doing things the right way (Merson is a prime culprit for that), and was not a massive fan of Pearsons either.

Thanks for your comments about Konch, personally think he has been decent from what I have seen of him and a lot of our defensive issues are towards the other side of the defense

He's done okay, some games he's been poor, others he's been fairly solid. Nothing to write home about though, and it's not exactly hard to stand out in our defence at the moment.
