Every piece of kit I purchase from China just seems to be useless - memory sticks (stop functioning after a day or cannot be recognised by my laptop); SD cards (recognised by one laptop and not another); projector bulb - (flimsy and broken on arrival); phone charger ( worked for 15 minutes and then just silently gave up); folding bluetooth keyboard ( all that is missing is its ability to bluetooth!!; instructions manual in English is actually in Chinese, no response to emails sent to the manufacturer's helpline); mp3 player that gave tinny sounds or simply could not recognize downloaded MP3s). Even non-electronic goods such as mechanical watches - a no wind watch that actually needs winding every 12 hours etc The list is endless. Any one else have similar experiences or am I a statistical freak for getting more than the average amount of utter crap?
Many if not most of the big brands seem to be made in China now, perhaps you have just been unfortunate.
Most electrical goods we buy are made in China, it you buy them here the shop is responsible for making sure they work, if you buy them from dodgy websites in China, it's your own fault.
Fender guitars cheap range Squire (I'm talking their Classic vibe range) are made in China and they are better made than the American originals. They sell for around £350 and are superior to a lot of very expensive American-made Fender guitars. I miss talking guitars on here, anyone got a new one? Anything guitar related?
