As I suspected, regret getting involved, should have listened to myself. I object to being called a "mouthy cnt". Boring I can take - I agree. Wordy, verbose, new Alan Bennett, get a life, load of rubbish, doesn't know what he's talking about etc etc heard it all before doesn't bother me. But I thought a QPR fan calling another QPR fan a cnt was a bit much, particularly as you've never met me so how on earth would you know? If there's some etiquette on here whereby you don't press the report button then I apologise for breaking that, don't come here often and wasn't aware.
I am embarrassed by this thread. LFW is sometimes described as “cliquey” whilst Not 606 as “open and welcoming”. There are also many posters who use both sites under the same nick. However, I am not sure why some posters on this site have “hatred” of Clives’ articles and opinions. I think all QPR fans are upset by the result on Saturday, however not many can express them in an analytical and articulate manner. Clives’ report was the first one I dared to read as I wanted an in-depth and objective analysis of what actually happened last Friday, and I admit that I enjoyed reading every word of it. However, I did not look for the report on this site, but I went directly for LFW. All QPR fans who used the internet are aware of LFW, so why do we copy the links on this site and comments and invite potential abuse? I propose we (as Not 606 QPR) stop posting LFW report links on this site until we "grow-up". This will not stop me personally form reading the analyses and reports that I personally value on “that” site as I know where to find them.
I can see where you are coming from but I think the link acts as a reminder to those who only occasionally pop onto other forums. Let's be honest someone should be able to do that without it attracting that kind of abuse.
The bottom line was that Northernr was abused on a personal level, by two other board members. This is not acceptable.... One has apologised (but with as Croydon says with a slant), the other hasn't. Any Apology with "but" is no apology. this site has become a place for some who have elavated themselves to football guru status and dont want to debate, just preach. the level of personal abuse has increased as well and quite honestly it makes you think twice about posting. I love a debate about anything, especially QPR but real debate is sadly lacking on here at the moment
My apologies for my absence in my lack of involvement in this. It just so happens that it's been one of those weekends when I've had to work the whole lot. In an attempt at bringing some arbitration to this complete and utter bollocks let me start with this. We are all QPR fans. I would hope that we all have QPR at the centre of our interests on here. There are roughly ten other QPR sites/forums/platforms that we can use to get our Rangers info, fix or obsession from. Call it what you will. But how this site differs from the others is that we have input from other clubs fans and also allow non QPR related topics where practically nothing is off-limit and everything is up for discussion within reason. This is this forum's USP. This is I believe the only site that offers this. This board requires it's posters to perhaps have a higher degree of tolerance than the rest. Because this forum is like this, it is difficult for non-professional moderators to moderate. This is why we have a self moderation policy and we rely on our contributors to call someone out if they overstep the mark. It also makes it a take it or leave it site. If you enjoy it, welcome and come along and enjoy the ride. If you don't, well thanks for visiting, we're sorry it's not for you but other sites are available. However, this remains one of the most vibrant QPR platforms even in the down times. Now onto the Swords/LFW issue that's prompted this. In Swords's post #39 above, he states and I quote ... ''I believe Nines was actually on the wind up and has been for some time regarding this issue.'' This is certainly not the case. I post many items up on here to try and keep the momentum of the board ongoing. I use many sources of which LFW's is one of very many. I also try and only submit material that is worthy of posting. A lot of the stuff isn't, so I don't bother if I feel it's of no interest. It doesn't escape me that this has been a long standing joke on here that I or someone else posts one of Clive's reports, Swords will then come along and dismiss it in whatever way his mood takes him and it's all part of the circus act. Most people ignore it whereas some still choose to take the bait. So if we can overlook the parody, what I find a bit odd is that here we have someone who for whatever reason can't attend our games, who complains about our lack of coverage and accessibility to QPR related news when not in the Premier League but chooses to direct his ire to someone that fills this gap and for others in a similar position. On the other hand, we have someone who dedicates his free time following the hoops home and away. Following this he takes the time to write up a witty, honest and informative match report which gives an objective view when it would be easier to be sycophantic to the club given that he writes for the match day programme, at the risk of being alienated by them. As for going straight to the Supermods, I have no problem with that. For someone who's an infrequent poster who's unaware of the inner workings of our forum it's understandable not being wanted to be called a ****. Or any of the subsequent attempted inappropriate character assassinations ( BBH - ''It is time for Clive to come out ''???) ... ****ing hell!!! How can anyone deem that acceptable? Clive has even stated on here before and I quote ... ''The stuff about not having a life, not going out, liking the sound of my own voice, doing this out of vanity and whatever isn't really fair or called for is it? It's not constructive criticism. If you actually knew me you'd know how daft it is - I have an ego the size of a peanut. We're all QPR fans at the end of the day. Come down the Crown on a matchday, all the guys who help out and write stuff for LFW are there, same table every week, really nice people who are always happy to buy people a drink and have a chat. I think it's great that we get to read these on here Nines/ Clive. Great to read whether you see the game or not. Sometimes I find the digs at the players or staff too personal to be funny, sometimes the reports are good for a few laughs, sometimes I agree with comments, sometimes not,. But that's what it''s all about. Many thanks and hope they keep coming. If someone doesn't want to read them they don't have to.
The newspaper coverage that we get whilst in the Championship is almost non-existent and I LOVE having Clive fill that gap and doing the job so well. I remember reading his stuff a few years ago in A Kick Up The R's and I did find some of that a bit long-winded at times but, for me, that's definitely NOT the case with his LFW efforts which I very much look forward to and greatly appreciate. I don't think that the latest round of abuse directed at Clive is acceptable and I have a slight worry that the abusers may put him off contributing and thereby deprive me of my weekly fix. Please keep providing the link 9's. Clive, ignore the abusers: they are hugely outnumbered by those of us on here who really enjoy your writing.
Well I've apologised for the language. That's all I was asked to do. Clive has used some choice language himself towards people in his articles as others have mentioned. Fair play to him I say but you give & receive. Its part of the Gig. For what its worth I think Clive is an extremely good writer. Ha! Absolute balderdash. Nines stop talking rubbish. Ever since you've been posting Clive's articles and I've been slagging them off, you've often laughed (inserted laughing faces) at my posts, "liked" them, once replied that you met him & you agreed that he "went on a bit", said that I was giving good coverage to this Site because he kept mentioning us on the Podcast and a whole host of other lighthearted comments towards my weekly responses. You're a bit of a lad Nines with cheeky sense of humour and contrary to what people might think on here, are well up for a bit of a wind up. Its low level so folk don't notice it but I do and I've no doubt you've a glint in your eye in real life. You don't fool me so don't pin this whole charade on me you bloody rascal you!

We club together for Swords to have a trip to Mecca ( Loftus Road to you Swordsie) and see who's matchday write up scores the highest in a poll. Extra points should be awarded for pictures. You are completely wrong Beth. The comments by me and swords which were made as a bit of a laugh, were aimed directly at Clive. You say that these comments were aimed at a new member. How the **** can these comments be made at a new member if we dont know that the new member is Clive. If I knew that Northernr was Clive, I would of welcomed him to the board and told him how much I enjoy his reports. Obviously you did not understand and so I will not ask for an apology from you.
