This result and this performance is going to make a lot of people sit up and reassess their predictions for this season's top 4.
Superb second half performance. Pochettino addressed the first half weaknesses during the break and his subs caused them problems, too. Some excellent individual efforts, Kane scored, we won convincingly and the officials were bloody awful!
Exactly, PNP! And let's not forget that this is a £ity side that has been sweeping all before it, in the Prem. We really have got to take tremendous credit for this performance. The team has been outstanding, today!
That was a fantastic performance from every player in a Spurs shirt. Eriksen looked a little off the pace but still put a shift in and played his part with the free kick. Lamela finally looks half decent. We've broken the City curse we've had in recent years and fully deserved it too. Oh what a day, what a lovely day.
What a result, stuck at work with only the internet for company (and with all streaming services banned) I am greatly indebted for the regular updates so much better than relying on the BBC!
Unbelievable win. Every player on the pitch was better than their City counterpart. Scored the only 2 legitimate goals of the game and looked very, very good. Lamela was just exceptional in that second half, showed the kind of end product that's often missing from his game. N'Jie looks perfect for us, a real bargain on the little I've seen from him so far. Could talk about every player and how well they did but I'm just going to mention Davies asthat was the best performance I've seen from him so far, really solid stuff despite not getting much help from Eriksen in the first half. Oh and well done Pochettino, got the line up right and whilst Chadli nearly got a goal, only for Son to tap it in and make it offside, N'jie killed the game off with some great skill on the way to assisting Lamela. Good substitutions and brave ones too, it'd have been easy to bring on defensive players to shut up shop.
Well, lads, we can all sit back, relax with a beer or a glass of vino, and watch our rivals slog it out, in the smug and certain knowledge that the mighty Spurs is now back on track, among the big boys in the Prem! This day can only get better, for me, if Arsenal lose!
Walker was apparently 5 yards offside according to Robbie mustoe. He must live in a world of humans who are 6yards tall
I just got an unexpected £1000 bill for a new oil tank but I smiled as I wrote the cheque we just went 4 - 1 up.......... it took some of the pain away
