I'm assuming we didn't take up the full allocation? Tickets Selling Quickly For Nottingham Forest Trip - Only A Limited Number Remain Our allocation of tickets for our away game against Nottingham Forest on Saturday 3rd October (KO 3pm) is selling quickly. Fans have been snapping up tickets for the trip to the City Ground and with only a limited number remaining, we’re advising supporters who intend on traveling to the game to buy their tickets as soon as possible. Remaining tickets are currently on general sale and available to buy online, in person from the KC Stadium Ticket Office and by calling 01482 505600. Please note that tickets will not be available to buy on the day of the game. http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...umber-remain-2709503.aspx#vdOKqZzCyEDLj7Th.99
Hopefully enough so I'll get a couple. Any idea why they've sold out so quickly? Was it a small allocation or a popular fixture?
If we've sold out over a week before the game, I suspect the initial allocation was fairly small, hopefully we'll take up a decent second allocation, there seem to be a lot on Facebook who didn't expect an issue and who've now missed out.
I got mine a few days ago. Forest is always one we take a lot to, I'm not sure why they didn't just take a bigger allocation in the first place.
last 2 away games have been miles away, we are near the top of the league, a ground we have done well at lately.. would have been something wrong if we didnt take loads ..
Plenty on here have said they would only do away games. Season ticket holders get first dibs ( naturally ) are tickets getting to general sale or are we taking a small allocation ie only enough for season ticket holders. There are plenty of Championship club with big grounds and I can't imagine they sell out. Ex Premier League clubs could accommodate thousands of visiting fans and would grateful for the extra income. Is it a cunning plan by our owners?
Forest have a standard 2,000 away allocation, with an addition 1,000 available if required. I doubt there's any cunning plan, we just seem to be trying to sell out of limited allocations this season, rather than taking a punt on the larger one's (where we're obliged to pay, even if we don't sell them all).
