Well... I missed Singapore because of having no internet :( (live timing using a lot of data isn't quite the same :p)
I fully expect Mercedes to be back to their best this weekend though, but if they aren't, the end of the year could be good! Imagine if merc were dq'd like they should have been, this WDC would have well and truly been on!

Rosberg will be trying out the mildly broken Italian PU3 engine in FP1. Given it's due to rain a fair amount they might as well. Even if it becomes just a practice engine it could save him an engine penalty by letting PU4 take a breather here and there.

Completely missed Fp2. Tactically driven decision as its pissing it down.

Hopefully nobody wasted their entire morning sitting up to watch the FP sessions.

Sainz and Kvyat providing another good advert for the Red Bull young drivers programme... the weather makes it difficult to say anything about the front-runners but I don't think it's a coincidence Ferrari and Mercedes have swapped places.

What's the weather forecast like for the rest of the weekend?

Cloudy tomorrow and sunny spells Sunday. So complete opposite to this morning, what a waste of a day. Could mix up the grid a bit having done near to no running in the dry!

Can take nothing from FP1 or FP2. Drivers would just be making sure they didn't bin the cars heavily.

Mercedes should walk it at this track, but if they don't then it shows how important the tyre pressure issue is to them. Surely their whole dominance didn't surround them just playing with tyre pressures?

I'd be gobsmacked if it was just down to that.

Hopefully there'll be a surprise shower during FP3 and they'll have to go into quali completely blind.

I just noticed that Hamilton is the only current driver that appears in the BBC's opening credits, and each time he's shown it's after Senna.

Apparently my alarm interprets "6.30" as "7.15". But anyway. Very curious to know what happened with Max at the end there. Some memories of Monaco 2006...

But Charlie knew all about it..........

It's just that the other teams didn't ask to do one as well. He would have said yet to all of them if they had asked <cough> pigs flying pas the window
mine set itself for FP3. Very considerate of it, but would have preferred it if the snooze function was working this morning........
