When I was 5 my Nana enrolled me into the Callis Waudby School of Dancing on Ferensway in the late 70s.. I stopped when I went to 'big' school at 11 as being a dancer might imply being a 'sissy'.. I wouldn't knock it though, if you attend dance class these days the majority of learners are women which gives the men a bit of choice as a rare species..
