People were obviously just speculating, nothing's happened yet and unless Assem or Ehab start posting, we won't know until it actually does happen.
HDM mention that Aston Villa wanting to bid £5m for Elmo. (story from the Birmingham mail). More bollox.
Honestly don't think we need to bring in any players on loan at the moment. Unless we get another centre half injured and we keep playing three at the back.
Yep I agree. Unless as Bruce says it was a player who could improve us, say if someone unexpected was available for loan then I think we're fine. I know it's not likely, but if Crouch wasn't getting any game time at Stoke he could be a great acquisition that would give us something different. Also I think if Lafferty at Norwich was available he'd be a great shout, especially seen as he played alongside Hernandez at Palermo.
Dan Kemp @1_DanKemp #hcafc's Steve Bruce has revealed the club were very close to signing Jordan Rhodes when in the #BPL - Venky's pulled the deal late on. Not really news, I thought everyone knew this already?
Makes me laugh, Blackburn have stated that they do not intend to sell Rhodes to a Championship promotion rival!!!! Given fair play restrictions etc. it would be one hell of an achievement if they are anywhere near the top come the season end.
We still need a left-back. I know Robbo is very young but he's making the same mistakes he did early last season. SB must have the option to rest him and play an experienced LB from time to time.
Yes motm last week but then in the mid week game against Swansea thought he give the ball away far to much but he his still very young and inconsistency often happens with a player so young. Many on here got a bit carried away with how much he was worth but he certainly has a lot of potential.
UNITED TO WAIT ON WILSON Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal says young striker James Wilson will not go out on loan before December. The 19-year-old was not in the squad for Wednesday's 3-0 win over Ipswich in the Capital One Cup, but there is no loan move pending. Van Gaal said he has "doubts" about whether it would be worthwhile loaning the player to a Championship club, and for that reason he will wait for two months before making a decision. "I have talked with him and I think we wait until December," the United boss told a press conference on Friday.
Not exactly a transfer story, but hey-ho... Hull City @HullCity ACADEMY: Congrats to Robbie McKenzie who has today signed his first pro deal with the Club. please log in to view this image
PRO DEAL: The Hull-born midfielder has signed a three-year deal to keep him at the Club until the summer of 2018. Three years is quite long for a first pro deal, is it not?
