Well said. Some ppl think it's a choice between results OR performance. Others, the ones who truly understand the game, know that you can have results AND performance. Take note @UnitedinRed <whistle>

I don't know - any truth in the rumour that Old Trafford gave Stephen Hunt a rousing ovation when he came on as sub for Reading for his contribution to Cech's concussion.

I appreciate where you're coming from but with all that's been going on with the team we have to start from somewhere even if it's a few crumbs of comfort from beating a 9 man Arsenal and an embittered Wenger.

Methinks you are a wise old bear. The cracks were covered up but we did improve, yet we seem to have no clue on how to attack as a team, and even less on how to open up defences. We are screaming out for a world class midfielder to run the show, and if there is one thing thats crystal clear, it is NOT Fabregas.get that type of player in and the entire front three have something to work with ,instead of having to make everything happen individually.
Costa has yet to convince me he is a striker, he spends so little time trying to score. I'll take Remy every time.

The FA now seem to try and appease those who cry foul the loudest. They have made an unholy mess with their retrospective adjudication. Yes Costa needed looking at as his conduct was not covered entirely by the yellow card he received. By which I mean it was for a separate moment than the one he was carded for. Gabriel was covered by the ref so can go to appeal. Now his appeal was successful, are not the officials culpable and due for censure? Are we to believe retribution can be justified from now on? The whole situation seems worst now than it ever was.

What irritates me are both the managers implying their players did nothing wrong to merit punishment which only fuels the indignation of diehards and neutral fans for the same reason but for holding opposite views!
