The way he looks after the ball is superb for a young player, he's got strenght, pace and close control, can tackle, and distribute really well, and also can take the ball from deep and burst forwards with it.

Got an assist tonight, and ran the midfield. I'd love to see him and matic play, although that would mean one of oscar/fabregas missing out.

Every time i see him, i just think *Future england captain* he's THAT good.

well done lad, keep it up!

When I watched him for our U21's (which was a fair bit) I actually Lewis Baker was the better of the two.

Two central midfield players but with different attributes. They actually complimented each other really well.

It's good to see RLC doing the business when he gets chance and its good to see Baker doing it for Vitesse most weeks.

IMO we are doing something wrong if both of these aren't regulars in the next couple of years.

We're doing the right thing with him, easing him into first team football. In my opinion the only way we're going to mess his career with us up is if we sack Jose.

Easing him in the way Jose is doing this year is exactly the right way to go. The kid is playing well, and learning , by seasons end we will have an experienced and knowledgable youngster ready made to slot into the first team whenever needed. Hope another one or two get similar opportunities as the season goes on.

Are people really serious that Jose would ever get the sack? Read a lot of this on this board and it's worrying that anybody would want to lose the best manager we ever had.

Anyone who wants him gone needs sectioning.

Our owner however, has previous for being trigger happy at the wrong time which for me is the most worrying bit. These last 3 wins seem to have us back on track though and whilst Newcastle has always been a **** place for us to go and pick up points, we should be beating them no problem with the form they are in.

He is very impressive on the ball. May as well widen out this out to talk about some other impressive performances. Kennedy was great and surprise surpise, Ramires shone in a formation more like a 4-3-3.

In 4-3-3 Rambo doesn't have to do all the defending, which brings the best out of him.

He is too bad when given the defending responsibility.

I felt sorry for falcao , two cleared off the line, slip on free kick and twice remy had a chance to play him in and took the shot instead.

pensioner and Stan wanted him gone, but Stan was just panicking.

CP was slagging off Jose and JT all the time even when we were top of the league
