You're on but I'm not coming to The Cheese to buy it if you win. I'll send you £1 in the post (I assume they can't charge more than £1 for a pint in The Cheese).
Half the fun of going to the cheese will be getting out in one piece besides you could pick up a cheap mattress or some other ****e lol
The jury was still out on him coming into this season for me, so I'm not going to lie about it. We've started well, after an awkward set of early season fixtures, and so far I've been quite impressed. But it is a big season for him, as without the distraction of a EL campaign and with a squad that has genuine stength in depth now, he needs to deliver a good league finish at least this season . His first season was fantastic, last season (until after New Year) a big disappointment, so he's got to prove that season 1 was his level this year. Despit my misgivings about him, he's got far more to him than gnashers imo.
Desperate? Just simple facts no need for the #bitter meltdown The fact that Rodgers got more points even with his promoted Swansea side is interesting, but we can just stick to the Liverpool/Everton years to see what's likely this season: Martinez never closer than 12 points and the gap increasing each year
Bullhsit comparisons though, as one of them has had £220m more than the other to spend on players. Oh and btw, if he sees the season out (highly unlikely), there's no way that trend will be continuing this year, you're ****ing delusional if you honestly think it will #graphs
Each place costs more money as you get closer to the top of the table #slidingscale Rodgers finished 2 places and 8 points off his target last season Everton finished 4 places (5 if not for 1 extra goal difference) and 13 points off his target last season (I'm being generous here and not holding him to his claim to get you CL football)
Both under performed in terms of league placing last season. Rodgers spend over £100m and should have been mounting a title challenge by his own logic.
Yes and it's clear that injuries and the (non-)settling of new players had an impact What's Martinez's excuse apart from being a **** manager #genuinequestion
Injuries, you mean 1 injury to weetabix legs.... ..and non-settling in of players - is that kopite speak for - signing a shed load of absolute ****e? What a ****ing lame attempt that is 0/10
Fans are notoriously fickle [not all obviously]. EFC fans didn't want Martinez, then they did, then they didn't ..... Pretty much the same with Rodgers.
