Who was worse. Costa the talentless thug who offers little as a footballer but at least helped his team win on the snide...

Or Ozil, an overrated, lightweight, lazy **** who spent the whole match doing fck all and couldnt give a **** whether his team won or lost.

Not the question or relevant to the match. Are you Arsenal87 in disguise?

  5. I think your question is a little loaded, Treble.

On balance, I think I'd rather have Costa in my side (assuming that I have to pick one of them), because history shows, very clearly, that you cannot win the Prem without at least one thug in your side. United, of course, have had several, down the years. Now that they are lacking a thug, they're off the pace.

They werent thugs at United HIAG, they were passionate and single-minded <whistle>

Has Ozil ever played longer than 75 mins btw? If someone told him football is a 90 min sport I reckon it would be a revelation to him.

Last season, of the games he played, he only played less than 75 minutes in two games. Both coming in his first games back from injuries. He only played less than 90 in five games.

This season he has played more than 75 minutes in every game he has played except the Chelsea game where he went off at 75 minutes!

Ozul might be lazy and soft butvhe can actually play.

No contest this, even an illegal fighting network would turn down Costa.

We should call London's only, Ozil, seeing as they share many traits.

But is ability more important than attitude? Ppl may have missed an important message in my question here.

Costa is effectively but hugely dislikeable. Chelsea fans seem bored of his antics.

Ozil seems completely ineffective but Arsenal fans insist he has an impact. Apparently he creates the most chances in the PL which I find quite amazing. Pehaps he only disappears in TV games.

I'd reluctantly take Costa of the two.

Nah Ozil disappears. He cuts a dejected disinterested figure a lot of the time. As the case on Saturday. Costa may be **** but he gives 100% even if that translates to sending off players.

Ozils not that bad. He's certainly nowhere near the player Arsenal thought theybjad signed but he's still got a lot of quality.

Put him in a team with a goalscorer and this isn't even a discussion. Costa has Hazard and for a short time, Fabregas supplying him.

Ozil has not stepped it up and bossed it against the bigger teams which has been disappointing, but he is normally very good at bossing the play and creating chance after chance against the weaker teams, so in that sense he is a bit of a flat track bully. But at least he is not a ****, so he has that in his favour against Costa.

If you want somebody to win you a football match its Costa, surely?

Ozil is very uninspiring particularly when it comes to games with the 'big sides'. Costa isn't always great this season he hasn't been great at all but you do know you'll at least get some effort and work rate, you don't get any of that from Ozil.

Ozil is a Fritz and no English team should have one <whistle>

Costa is over 50 so he would be no good, so I shall sell them both for a huge loss
