    Blade Runner.

Rutger Hauer's 'Tears in the Rain' speech is marvellous.

All of the SAW movies (except five) have great endings. Shame the rest of each film is a bit questionable in quality. The storyline is great once you look past the shaky acting of some characters and the gore, gore, gore.

The ending to Carrie, where she goes batshit insane (understandably so) and kills everyone, is pretty good.

There should really be more non Hollywood films on this list. Films like Switchblade Romance and Martyrs.

How is that a good ending? In a proper Clint Eastwood film he kills all the baddies at the end, not the other way round.

I presume you're on about Gran Torino? Clint directed it, how could it be not 'proper'?

I did like the first Saw a lot. The 2nd was reasonable but after that they just descended into gore for the sake of gore. The first one did have a really gripping storyline and the gore was kept much more in context than the rest of the sequels - and the ending was brilliant.

One - Three work really well as a trilogy. After that'd I'd skip to 6 and 7 which fit really well. 4 and 5 were new directors and lost their way a little.

I'd skip them all after the first one, because they're a bit ****.

    Angels with Dirty Faces.

Does Cagney die a coward or is he trying to prevent Father Jerry's boys from following in his footsteps?
