It's hard to get excited about the fare on offer today and I can hear Sir Barney unfurling his no bet banner as I write. I have had a bet in the first at Kempton however and depending on how that goes I may follow Commodore a little further over the cliff later on the card. Kempton 2.10 Terresar 9-4 This horse was backed to win on it's debut but disappointed, much more was clearly expected however as this horse holds a listed race entry for a stable that does not often over face their horses. It does not look a race of depth with likely the Hills horse Joules giving the selection most to do.
Appleby has a bit of a habit of winning with his 2yos on their second start. Sailor's Way did not cover himself in glory first time up and the boys in blue own the favourite trained by Gosden but that's very short. I'd think the 15-2 about Sailor's Way (each way 2.40 Kempton) may be better value. This is a 10f race race, which is a long way for a youngster to go (used to only be one 10f race a season and that was the Zetland Stakes). Being by Dubawi out of a Sadler's Wells mare he should get the trip as well as any. I'd like to see Sparring Queen go in on her second start in the 3.10 on the same card. Beckett's in fair form and this filly should be fine on the surface. Probably best to go E-W as it's a tough heat.
Morning, crew. Yep, Blue, the banner is fluttering in the ample breeze right this very second. TIME TEST heads to Newmarket on Friday for a Group 2 over a mile, people. The Dettori creature has already been booked.
Disappointed with keenes point there who beat the winner by 2l lto here but I suppose the signs were there. Oriental sky ew 13/2 7/1 still available
Jesus Fergal Lynch has ripped up the Hamilton card and kicked the back doors in 4 wins and a third. Deserves a round of applause
