Aaaaarrrrgh!! Corden is hamming it up on the pre game show. Is nothing safe from this talentless sad sack?
30 seconds on the clock up by 7 points Broncos are 3 -10 on the 19 yard line.... I know let's call a time out to give Peyton some time to think -boom 24-24. Don't worry we get the ball back at the kick off although we don't intend to throw it and we want to take it to overtime. I know instead of taking a knee lets run the ball and then fumble it for a takeaway. Genius Andy Reid!!! We killed ourselves in that game with 5 turnovers - I feel sorry for the D they played superb. Peters is going to be All Pro - what a pick that was in the draft, 2 interceptions in 2 games. Onwards and upwards, we should have won! Bring on the Cheese Heads!
Game turned in that first half just before 2-min warning. I share Chief's opinion. Big Red always gets exceptional calls right and simple calls wrong. Unfortunately simple calls make up for more than 70% of the game.
Winston was on fire today, a beautiful lofted pass and excellent reception by V-Jax. The move he put on Bobby Richardson was sublime, Jameis just walked past him into the end zone.
Aaron Williams released from hospital and all okay thankfully according to NFL last night. Excellent win for Dallas but Romo has broken a collarbone and is at risk of missing the whole season. That surely gives them a mountain to climb if that is the case. Packers started better than last year and look solid. Slow start as expected from Seahawks- not sure if they'll be able to get on a roll to save them in the second half of the season this time around but it can't write them off just yet. Very disappointed in the 49ers and I think that may be a sign of their season- very in and out. Detroit are a side I expected a better start from. I think all in all Packers have impressed me and look set for another good season. For some of the surprise packages I think the Falcons might do okay, and Kansas despite losing to Denver should have a good year and get into play off contention. It's great to have the season up and running.
As a Packers fan I'm delighted that we beat the Seapigeons and made Sherman look very average (two penalties in as many plays, Jones just out running him for the opening TD) but I am concerned about our lack of offence. Last year we put up 30/40 points per game at Lambeau, this year without Nelson, with Lacy out for a spell potentially and with Adama making less of an impact I'm concerned that we may have to rely on a shaky at times defence to grind out games.
Dear Rex... Please keep trashing talking, makes the beat downs handed out all that more enjoyable! Was a "bit" concerned when we switched off in the 4th Qtr.. should have managed the clock better and not thrown as much in the 4th Qtr.. run the ball a bit, wind down the clock and kill the game off better... Jags at home next, then @Cowboys after the bye, given they won't have Dez and Romo, feeling confident that we'll go into their house and pickup a road win!
