    After lambasting Kaboul throughout the first half, a commentator on the the US stream, told the academy kids to turn off the TV, so as not to pick up any bad habits.

    While I was watching the game, I kept thinking, what this team needs - is Eric Dier. Spurs gave up as many goals as Sunderland last year (53), now they play three centerbacks - now nobody scores!

    Good idea imo., as long as we don't think Catts is the man. We could also do with some Reidian philosophy ( West Ham that is ) from our players,they shall not pass, we live in hope. <ok>

    If I'm right in thinking that Kaboul is suspended for Man City cup game if OO'Shea is still I'll then it could be Rodwell next to Coates

    Who knows neccessity could be the Mother of Invention. I say try out a back three from JOS WB SC JR or YK and take the onus away from our full backs who are having a bad time of it of late. Its worth a try against Man City, we have nothing to loose.

    He is a bit of a let down in midfield, tbh I can not remember him ever being that good, over-rated and over-priced.
