Match Day Thread Our Season Starts This Weekend

Clearly our problems lie beyond the manager, the problem is, much like with the mackems I suspect there's toxicity within the squad. New players coming in quickly learn that no one has any kind of belief or ambition to fight for the team, rather, the players seem to think they're better than most of the rest of the league and think they only need to try when playing top teams like manU.

I don't care about losing so much, if at least someone seemed to give a ****, but none of the players in the spine of the team give a ****. Colo needs to be benched, permanently. I don't care if he's captain, he doesn't seem to care. I'd rather see Willo than Colo. Same goes with Sissoko. I want to see Obertan and Aarons playing, at least they run and try to do something. McClaren needs to risk something next game. That means taking out Colo, Colback and Sissoko and Cissé. All of them have been way below par. Playing one good game every 10 games doesn't cut it in the prem.

 

I had hoped I'd left all that behind me but it seems I may have to step into the breach again. And what a breach it is, let me tell you

 

I'm done with the match threads. That's two now, both resulting in home defeats. It's the only way to turn our season round - the players don't look like they can do it.
