Lost count of the number of matches I've watched when we play really well and suffer an offside goal. There'll be a Man U penalty to finish things no doubt.
It was offside. Our defense is also looking pretty bad all of a sudden; gaps appearing from simple passes and clearances not being made.
Our defense still looking like a work in progress, but Van Dijk hasn't been here long, we're not playing Bertrand or Cedric so it's not as if there aren't reasons. With time, I'm confident it'll become more steady. Our attacking movements have certainly looked better this game though, even if we still are missing chances - but at least we're making them, which is a much more difficult issue to tackle.
Should've made it 2-0 but overall I think Pellè, Mané and Ward-Prowse have all looked sharp. Get back in, regroup, go again.
Actually, if we're looking purely at what happened between the players on the pitch - we're extremely unlucky not to be 1-0 up. There has, after all, been only one legitimate goal in the match.
