Yeah I think that Hooper was mentioned as injured last weekned too? I am all for forgiving and forgetting in this money-driven football world, that we live in, and if Neil says Grabban's ready to be let back into the fold then fine. But I do think that Lafferty, after his form for NI and the clear comments he made about his commitment, deserves to be above him in the pecking order. Ultimately, Neil would probably say that it's about putting out the team that's most likely to get a result, and that might mean Grabban fits the system better than Lafferty, but that's just my feeling. There has to be some sort of credit given to commitment and attitude, even if we accept that footballers cannot be expected to be loyal.
Based on attitude and form, I'd be with you on putting Lafferty ahead of Grabban in the pecking order: Jerome Mbokani Lafferty Grabban Hooper
If we're talking attitude and form I'd say Lafferty should be above Mbokani right now. Sounds like Mbokani's not had a great deal of match time recently. If we're talking 'potential' then that's a different matter I suppose. If we're talking what AN thinks then probably (I suspect) Grabban will be bumped to 3 possibly 2 behind Jerome.
I think we'll be nervous after a bad start to the season, we have 4 home games in a row Rodgers needs 4 wins. I've been to your place twice many years ago to watch the games against Ipswich, really good atmosphere.
Don't get it if you qualify for Europe that should be the leveller to allow us little clubs get an advantage They have a big enough squad to cope
It's always been that away and it seems fair to me. Especially if you have to travel abroad, that doesn't give you much time to prepare for the next game. Maybe they could move the Europa games to a Tuesday and Wednesday then keep the Saturday games.
But doing that would devalue / dilute the Champions League bollocks by which they - and the global football watching public hold such store. Four (4) English "champions"? Yeah, right
I want to see a pan European competition that takes the first place team from EVERY pro league in Europe (so Prem, Champ, L1, L2 for England) and works like the champions league. How awesome would it be to have Barca, Bayern or Real playing against Gillingham, or whoever it was that won league 2 last season.
Don't see how it would devalue the Champions League as what I see no one cares enough about the Eupora league. But I was just saying if people wanted to keep the Saturday fixture they would have to move the Europa games which will never happen anyway.
I'd forgotten about their match in Europe, I was cock sure it was on the TV this afternoon- bolloxs bolloxs bolloxs
Cheesed off this was one game on my list I was going to try to get away tickets for How can I do that with a 4pm kick off on a Sunday and my boys at school Monday morning Once again little or no thought for fans wny could it not have been a noon kick off ?
