Disagree. Carr's the first to go, for me, almost instantly followed by Charnley.

We are in big trouble this year. The league is much more competative. And we are no even competing right now

I didn't think much of this at the time, but Steve - in his pre-match yesterday - talked up Payet as the difference between us and West Ham. Whilst he's not wrong, the point of that is very relevant; we could and should have been buying players like Payet, but because of our board we end up with Thauvin, who costs more in the hope of being worth even more when sold. Payet is a talented footballer who will drive on the pitch ambition, but is unlikely to pocket you much cash when he's on the wain at 32. In a snap, Steve highlighted precisely why we will be left behind by 18 other teams and see ourselves relegated, because we are the ONLY team in this division not interested in playing results, only financial ones.

Bottom line for me today, McClaren is clueless at present. How can you start Colback, Cisse and Sissoko on form this season. Just stupid. we got what our managers starting line up deserved. Will he learn? Probably not. We had the team to win that game today, but his stubborness is killing us. As soon as we bring on Aarons and SDJ we control the game. Again.

And don't anybody tell me Haidara and Colo are good enough, they are shambolic. The defence is rancid. Picking Colback over Anita is ridiculous.

Frustrating when it could have been a valuable 3 points. Blame lies solely with the manager. Although this football board's decision to not scratch the 5 year itch that is our defence is also somewhat worrying. We have to bite the bullet next window and replace Colo and Haidara, no excuses.

It doesn't stack up. We only bought 4 players and one of them wasn't playing - Watford took in about 14 this Summer, complete with (more or less) a new manager. West Ham (2nd) have a new boss and new players, one of who (Payet) tore us a new one. Leicester (3rd) have a new boss and new players yet are doing well. Why is it so utterly shambolic at Newcastle?

As always no answers just more and more questions. Embarrassing.

A lot of players needed shifting out but it never happened. Why because the club is run on the cheap since fat boy came to town......Why pay top dollar when you can gamble another season with the likes of colo and haidara .
We are in trouble and tbh it doesn't even hurt anymore after 30 odd years it just does not matter they don't care so why the **** should I.

Lost for words actually. And I thought last year was bad!! Jesus Christ!!! What the hell do they train on in the week before games? It cant be football technique or formation because they dont have either of them! I saw McClaren came down from his perch this game, he obviously was shyting himself about the enormous threat Watford would pose!! FFS. Haidara=Shyte, Colo=Shyte, Cisse=Cant be Arsed. No passion, no drive, devoid of ideas, nobody wants the ball and no creativity anywhere except possibly Janmaat. That says it all really, our most creative and threatening player is our right back!! Nobody makes runs off the ball, just stand still and wait for someone to pass to them. I have watched every team this year and I think we are by far the worst team when it come to attacking and creativity, even worse than Sunderland. If we have 12 points by Christmas I will be effing amazed. BLOODY AWFUL!! Feck the lot of em!!!
