We'll have to have the reserves playing the same "system" as the first team to get Cabaye used to it, bad news but he's only missing a week with the rest of the team.

Also, on the Asia tours idea, we got invited to them and you get a fair bit of money but it's not ideal being in a foreign country for pre season. The idea with America was they'd speak English and they would settle better.

That cant be right, you only have to have been clean for 5 years and he's 25 now. I think it will just have been an administrative error.

The visa system means he'd have to be clear of convictions for 5 years in order to refuse him entry on those grounds. He's now 25 so that's 10 years and therefore not liable to be refused entry.

The only way this would have grounds for rights of refusal is if he omitted it from his application.

Apparently if it is sorted quickly he could still go to America. Unlikely though.

He could spend the next few days sorting it and just miss the first game. Would be ideal really as the only CMs we're taking right now are Tiote, Smith, Gosling and Raylor.

That may have been the problem if he didn't put that on they will have refused him. Also if convicted of a crime including guns or drugs it is a lot longer than 5 years.

Sky says he failed to get the visa because of a minor issue which has since been resolved. It says that Ranger played a part in a robbery at age 15, you obviously misread this sentence:

  14. That's ****ing bullshit.

Why should what you do as a 15 year old kid punish you as an adult?

He should have gotten the belt to the arse and taught a lesson back then, not paying for it as an adult.

Yeah Ranger deserves to have his visa revoked for that, he's only a few years off 15 right now so it's not exactly ancient history.

  17. No, it was a figure of speech, what i was saying is that he should have been punished as a kid, and when he turned 18 and became a man he should have had his slate wiped clean.

My theory is because of his Vietnamese blood, you know those USA - Vietnam relations. Covert racism.

Didn't they let Ranger go to USA on holiday recently?

Seem's a bit mental that he can go over there to get drunk and party but he's not allowed in to "work".

I disagree with this completely. So any person can go out committing crimes galore on the 364th day of their 17th year then the following day apply, and expect to get approval for, a US work visa?
