Good step up against Tel Aviv, now, what do we do about Arsenal? Their speed is their biggest threat to our slightly fragile defence, Does Jose play the same old same old, or spice things up a bit? Big call, as another loss will put us up **** creek without a paddle. On the other hand, playing safe is a dangerous game. I'd forgive Jose if he goes for it, even if it doesn't come off
So here's my 2 bobs worth for a starting 11.
    A.Goalkeeper
    Dave, Cahill Zouma Baba
    RLC Matic
    Oscar
    Remy Costa. Hazard

The team selection looks just about right to me CP . I just wonder about where JT fits into things now! There's clearly been a fair amount of aggro behind the scenes, but his great contribution has been his role as captain and I can't see where our on field leadership is going to come from.

Ivanovic, Ramires and Fabregas will all start - no doubt about it!

    I would go with

    Begovic
    Azpi, JT, Zouma, Baba
    Matic, RLC
    Oscar, Fabregas, Hazard
    Remy

Willian definitely out and Pedro and Oscar both doubtful although I imagine one of them will start.

I'd go with the same side as Drogs but I won't be surprised if both Ivanovic and Ramires start.

I'd still go with Costa but the rest of the team is agreed. Still retains a good physical threat from set pieces as well and some pace at the back; which is a must v Arsenal.

I think it'll be Ramires on the right and Fabregas next to Matic, Oscar at 10 if fit.

Costa is playing really poorly but to be fair I think he's the kind of player who will score when he's fed. He's never going to get the ball in midfield and beat 3 or 4 men to score. I just think the treatment of Remy has been really poor and what better time to give him an opportunity than when the main striker isn't performing.

I can certainly see your view.

I wouldn't be disappointed as I don't think Remy has ever let us down. I just think Costa is more of an xfactor type player and his goal midweek will have helped his confidence hopefully. .

I know we dont have much to cling to, but I'm really confident of a win for the blues. Come on boys.

Interesting game this, you lot would usually frustrate and turn them over but it's abit less clear as to what'll happen this time. It wouldn't surprise me if Jose looks for a 0-0 though.

Thats why I picked Costa AND Remy !! I Agree with both you and Drogs, but I think Fabregas needs a shake up if Oscar is fit. I just hope we dont see Ivan, JT Cahill and Dave as the back 4, not because they need to go, but just to freshen everyone up and inject some change

very puzzling. JT is on the bench but Ivan leads?
Dave in his weak position. Fab partners Matic.

Usual from Jose then. First time forever Arsene has a good chance for 3 pts.

Some day, Costa will wind up the wrong centre half and end up with a leg in four pieces and frankly it'll be deserved.

Costa bought that red from the ref there.

    gabriel has no-one to blame.

11v 10 now, lets see what happens!

f@ck.. why screw up a perfectly alright half?
Dean was poor entire half. Could have sorted that out better.

Not condoning what Costa did there - but TBH Costa was in receiving end of those wind ups more often last season.

Costa could just as easily have been sent off there.
Why is he such a ****ing child? He needs to cut this **** out of his game.
Getting into the opponents head is one thing, but he is a serious discipline case. Jose needs to have words.
He'll be off at 65 minutes anyway, Jose will sub him

I'd be amazed if Mourinho discouraged it, at least in private. It's a very Mourinho-esque tactic.

****ing with your opponents Psyche is a Mourinho-Eque tactic for sure.
But what good does it do us if he gets himself sent off? He needs to draw a line.

I think you got it all wrong there.

Costa wanted Gabriel to get wound up, he wanted him to get a card, and wanted him to be sent off by the ref.

He's not child, he's very clever, and he achieved his objective. If anything jose whispers in his ear to carry on!

You or i may dislike it (i dont i think its genius tbh) but hes not stupid, and he knows EXACTLY what he's doing.
