Dan Evans lost the 2nd game in the Davis Cup by 3 sets to 1, but actually a far better game than that sounds. Some excellent play from both players.
Good news. Yes, I watched that we will get them in the doubles. Andy will play cant see him losing serve on this form
Okay thanks didn't know that. Thought the commentator today said he was. His brother is better anyway AT doubles.
Inglot may have been named initially in the doubles but that can change. BBC expect the Murray brothers to play.
There's still plenty though. Nature is often about the survival of the fittest, so you should find it easier to find a "fit" one DTLW
Last day at work yesterday until 12th October. Might as well go do something with myself. Perhaps a little trip to Tanzania and a a wander up Kilimanjaro. Good idea. Let's go. I expect to see us in 4th by the time I get back, I'll blame you lot if we're not!
Just turning my mind to travel insurance...something I absolutely hate. You don't know how lucky you are if you're fit as you don't have to declare five types of pills. I have known people to delay going to a doctor until after their holiday as they would then have to phone up and declare they have been to a doctor recently for ingrown toe nail/sniffles/bunion...none of which will cost you, but will invalidate your insurance if you don't declare it. Now they want health details of your travelling companion, so I have to phone my friend and get her medical details. Oh, and you have to declare illnesses of close relatives...how close is close and would anyone do that? Have decided to ignore that last bit and just bite the bullet if anything happens to a relative. I understand insurance companies covering themselves, but this is ridiculous...what ever happened to just spreading the risks...you win most and lose some. Rant over. P.s. Bet when my son takes out cheap travel cover, he doesn't declare my illnesses.
Yes, the Murrays are playing in the doubles. Important to win, but also important for Andy to win his singles. Shame Evans couldn't win yesterday, because then Inglot would definitely have got his chance. Go GB.
Apologies if posted up before, but did anyone read about the acid attack on the woman in Southampton.? Seems like the attacker used a very powerful acid too. Mercedes only fourth and fifth on the grid in Singapore. Hamilton fails to equal Senna's run of consecutive pole positions. Normal people cheer in relief.
Two sets all in Davis Cup. Very good match, but we've missed chances. We were all leaning back smoking cigarettes when Andy served for the match....but no. Last set coming up.
