Any ambitions of the trust running the club 'are' ridiculous, obviously. We couldn't even nearly afford it. But if we could, I believe the Allams would welcome it.
And that makes it a statement from the Trust, does it? So are you now ok if folk dredge up random statements you've made in the past and attribute them to the OSC? You're out of order. Knock it off.
What happens if the player gets sold, say in January do get the option of transferring sponsorship another player ?
Its an interesting point though. Sure Trust directors can have their own point of view but if they are openly abusive about a person at the club or the club its self do they recquire some sort of censure. It certainly devalues the Trust and its purpose.
Can you tell me of any organised group of people, whether they be a trust, a council, a political party or even a workplace, where everyone, despite sharing a common aim, agreed on every last detail?
The original plan was that there would be two wreaths, one from HCOSC and one from the club. This was changed by Brighton to the two supporters clubs presenting one wreath for the managers to lay and on Friday morning it was decided to use the HCOSC wreath, I simply did not have the time to do anything other than get the club badge printed onto card, cut out and mounted on the wreath. I personally felt that it was better not to attribute the wreath to one group, when it was from the club and supporters.
I really don't think it should have been attributed to one group. I think it should have been attributed to Hull City.
To be fair, the club have been happy to talk to fans and fans groups all along and have never had an issue with fans using the Hull City name or it being shown in the ground on fan produced materials.. It has been one group they wouldn't deal with because of comments and actions associated with them, that has been the hurdle. Credit to the club if they're moving on. The FWG and OSC have been dealing with the club on supporters issues, so it'll be interesting to see what additional areas the trust can bring to the party.
I'd say posting it where you did is not the most appropriate arena to have the debate, especially as it was the official club crest that represents Hull City AFC, that while disliked by some, is hardly being campaigned against.
I didnt even know they announce who sponsors each player. Will piss myself if they use the trusts Sunday best name and call them Tigers Co-Op
I'm of the opinion that a wreath being laid on behalf of Hull City fans, at another ground, should have the club's name on it, but it's really not a big deal.
