    Would you buy Jo from Man City?

    I have always rated him as a player and thought he did very well at Everton when on loan (first time around). He is still only 24 and won't cost a lot, as they would want to get him off the wage bill. We could then get Sturridge on loan for the season and have four strikers of Sturridge, Jo, Best and Ba. I would personally sell Lovenkrands and Ameobi as this would help cover the wages of Jo and Sturridge and they are both getting on a bit.

    Would anybody else be happy to sign Jo? How much do you think he would cost?

    Not for me aginairr I dont rate him at all.
    Hopefully we can get Sturridge though, cant see it myself but you never know for definate in football.

    I've never been a fan of Jo. He's usually abject when I watch a match he's involved in.

    Problem with Sturridge is I think we will have to wait a while. We would have to wait for AVB to run the rule over him and probably for them to get another striker. But I really hope we get him! Then as first choice team we could have...

    id snap Jo up for 8-10m and 50k a week, i think he could be quality, he is tall, quick and can score goals, just never had the chance

    I was personally thinking (hopefully) he would be slightly cheaper than that. Surely he hasn't got long on his contract!

    one article saying we don't have that sort of money then on another saying pay 8-10m for a average player who you'd get for around 3m to 5m <doh>

    as others have said "He's usually abject" "he has been anonymous and has been taken off"

    i'd say no would rather we keep best than waste money on this lad who is no better /worse

    and as someone of the ilk of welliton is up for grabs for 7.5m and add in the fact you'd prob get vossen for the same price why bother

    Depends on what he'd cost, but i doubt City would let him go for anywhere near as low as i'd be happy to take him for.
    Really hasn't done anything for me since joining City.

    No need for apologies, just gaging opinion. I really can't think of any strikers that I really want. Except for Sturridge and even he would miss the first three games through suspension.

    Don't rate him so I wouldn't really want him to be honest.

    Also as Man City paid £18m for him at the start of the 2008/09 season I reckon they would need to sell him for in the region of £7.5m to not make a loss on him and I think that is too much for him. If we are going to spend that much we can get better for the money.
