    ... this went on for days, Vern got bigger, his stature grew and he became a legend among the many. Big Vern was among us, his turd above us, he knew what we wanted.

    He'll be back, we'll know it's him, tomorrow's another date ...

    Well I have a shirt and it was obtained by a WHU member of staff after the match and passed onto me. Perhaps he did not play that season but I am sure he would still have the shirt number 4 with the name on the rear. The shirt was given in the players lounge after the match. Premier league badges on the sleeve - the lot.
    If you doubt me further I can attach a photo. The shirt is a bona fide Ian Ashbee shirt obtained after the 3 - 3 draw.

    Ah them were the days, when our **** players could get forwards with some urgency, make a few passes behind enemy lines and as a result - score a few goals.

    Last seasons squad was miles better than the second season in the Premiership. Both ultimately failed and were relegated.
    The squad of 2009/10 when you look at it was average to say the least but they did possess some fight - something sadly lacking last season.

    It would appear that shaving ones testicles is the in thing these days.
