Harsh on Rossiter. He's won a few tackles..been caught out of position early on. Rest of midfield has looked slow and disinterested. Origi isolated. Ibe can't be arsed. No one is actually passing out to Moreno so we've no width.
Exactly - there was an unhealthy obsession of merely bringing in a new striker and that would solve our problems. The problem is and always was the midfield and creating chances for the strikers. In the 13/14 season, we had Coutinho and Henderson playing as CM's and both would support the attackers i.e. SAS and Sterling.
Lets go out on our shield throw everything at them and i f we get caught on the counter and lose so what. At least we would have had a go. And if it does work it may get some confidence going
Don't know why anyone would think we'd win tonight, Rodgers is absolutely hopeless in Europe. We think he's bad in the league at the moment, but the man has no clue about Europe at all.

Since Toure came off, defence has been more solid. Excellent covering from all 3 centre backs, they all know the basics of rotating position when one steps out - something we dont see from Lovren and Skrtel. Chrivella and Rossiter have done very well.
