Good strong CF play from Rhodes and a good goal from him. The guy is class....in this division anyway!
As Ciarrai said, a bit of both. Onouha's been our best CB overall this season, but he wasn't quite on his A-game yesterday.
Bit of both. Very well played from Rhodes, showed great strength and a good finish, but Onuoha should have been stronger.
The Rhodes goal came from a regulation boot downfield from their 'keeper and Angella was beaten in the air by the big CF, as he was all night. Once he realised he couldn't match him in the air, he should have dropped off him and he could then have stopped the flick reaching Rhodes.
Sometimes, instead of over analysing things and picking holes in QPR's defending of a situation, it's better just to accept that it was a great piece of play from the opposition. Not all goals conceded by QPR come about by poor defending. A lot of the time it is just good play from the other team.
Next you will be telling us .... Chelsea are a really good team , just going through a blip and that you really respect murinho, he is a great magner .
All that is true as it goes...and you know it! Take those blinkers off! I see Chelsea won 4-0 in Europe last night! Always good that British clubs win in Europe, who ever they are....eh!
Talking of which, we need Dunne back to shore up our defensive frailties, did he sign up with anyone or has he hung his boots up?
Just seen the video and Rhodes should be given all the credit, the control on the chest and lobbing the ball over Ned's head deserved the goal alone......
I think Dunne is remembered as being better than he was. Granted he had some terrific performances but he understandably became very slow and cumbersome towards the end. He's not got himself a new club as of yet for a reason IMO. Was a brilliant goal by Rhodes. If Austin had done it I don't think anyone would be saying it was poor defending. Just excellent forward play.
