I couldn't give less of a **** if I'm pissing anyone off, Piskie.

I'm sick of this. I'm sick of witnessing the same issues cropping up every single year. I'm sick of people using the same excuses all the time and pointing the fingers at everyone else except the one consistent person in all of this.

If people are talking garbage, I'm going to call them out on it, irrespective of whether it's considered to be abrasive or not.

If you don't like it, then delete my posts. It's not my problem.

A scenario that many Arsenal fans brought up pre-season... but one that Arsenal clearly didn't forebode if their lack of transfer activity is anything to go by.

On another note, thought Gerrard was a good pundit in today's show. To the point!

@Squawka: Mikel Arteta's game by numbers:

    0 chances created
    0 tackles won
    0 aerial duels won
    0 shots
    0 crosses

    Ineffective. http://t.co/iJWRqhFfFS

Everyone has known for a while that Arteta isn't good enough. Everyone has known for a while that Giroud isn't good enough. We all know it.

It's just that nothing gets done to sort it out.

And then people wonder why I can’t get excited for Arsenal. How can you get excited after watching this performance, which shows how far we are from being proper contenders to win major titles?

Goodness sakes, how can you be excited when your main striker is Olivier the donkey Giroud?

This game while utterly disgusting and depressing, was nothing really new though was it? We’ve seen results and performances like this many times over the last few years, and we were supposed to have corrected them once ‘money became available and Wenger could spend’, yet the same weaknesses and same rubbish persist and I’m somehow supposed to get myself excited knowing we haven’t really improved?

As for the game itself, Arteta really should never be playing for us again, maybe in the useless league cup is all. Campbell the same. Bellerin is our obvious first choice right back now as well, Debuchy was more good at throwing himself on the floor than contributing to the team. Oh and yes, as for Giroud, well, he just goes and does it again, showing why he will never ever truly be what we need up front, and why he will never ever be considered top quality, what an absolute donkey, not only does he cost us games because of his **** finishing, but yesterday he cost us the game because of his utter stupidity, he must have been on his period or something.

The surprising thing is that these sorts of results still actually surprise some people. Have these people only just started supporting a Wenger managed team?

    Still... #bestmanforthejob #20162017isouryear

Like I said in another thread, no matter how we wanna slice it and dice it this arsenal team NEED a strong DM for it to work. How Wenger doesn't see this is beyond me. This position is arguably the most important position at the club right now. We should be well stacked in that position for the season but Wenger has chosen to have only one. Stupid! We are going to have the same season as usual. Nothing will ever change with AW in charge. It all about the marafacking mullah!!!

I'm convinced, from his previous and current actions, that he doesn't believe that it's an important position. He is much more interested in our attacking side of things than the defense. Look at his recent transfer record and it's littered with top attacking talent, but his defensive signings have been decent but not top quality. He would rather go for a budget buy defender than a top one, that's why he wasn't interested in getting a DM worth some. Yet for the past 3 transfer windows, he's brought in two world class forward players worth over £80m! Cech he bought for a bargain £10m but still no DM.

I still think we have a strong squad.

This was an unmotivated, poorly managed performance.

    I think ....

Opsina -Not a bad second choice keeper. Solid if unspectacular.

Gabriel - May be our first choice CB now. Certainly very good competition.
Debuachy - Quality backup for sure
Gibbs - Decent second LB option

Rosicky - Seems to do a job whenever we play him. Should get more games!
The Ox - Super Talented - massively inconsistent.
Wilshere - I still think this is the player we miss the most. His ability to carry the ball against tight midfields is a huge bonus, Plus he can play a variety of roles.

Wellbeck - Not a natural Goalscorer but a player I like. In many ways I would prefer him upfront in the 'big games' than Giroud. Not because he is better but because he seems to perform better on those occasions. (while Giroud often goes missing)

Walcott - Better finisher than Giroud at least. Hold up play is not good enough though. We need to make better use of him and play quickly on the counter. Not this steady tikka-takka business. When you have unusual pace like Walcott and Bellerin - you should make the most of it.

    On the downside...
Arteta - Well unfortunately the decline was quick. Seems to be unable to play at this level anymore.
Joel Campbell - Clearly not progressed in the last 2-3 years. Should be sold.

    Then the starting 11.

    --------------------------Cech--------------------------
    Bellerin--------BFG-----Koscielny------Monreal
    -----------------Coquelin----Carzorla----------------
    -----------------------------Ozil---------------------------
    Ramsey-------------Giroud----------------Sanchez

Its a pretty decent side with a lot of quality -We just need a better first choice CF. This should have been our batshit crazy managers priority.

I feel bad for Giroud though. Ultimately he's done pretty well for a £12 Million pound striker who hadn't played top flight football until he was 24.
