Latest update regarding Warren Farm ...

    • Club provides update on Warren Farm training ground project
    • Planning consent granted following meeting on Thursday
    • Plans move a step closer following latest developments
QPR are very pleased to announce that on Wednesday evening at a Planning Committee meeting of the London Borough of Ealing the proposals for QPR’s training ground and community sports facility were approved.
This is an important step forward for the club and the plans to develop a first class facility to benefit the club and the local community have moved a step closer.
The club is mindful that there are a number of further technical challenges to overcome before work can commence, but we remain committed to delivering a first class facility.

Thanks 9's. Good news but isn't that the second time we've had the green light? Does that mean the NIMBYs / tree-huggers and other looney types are finally defeated?

Is the technical issue is the 45 degree slope the site is on? Dammit, knew we should have done a survey.........

    More news in 4 years.

The original plans were approved years ago, so it would have been very odd indeed if the council rejected the revised plans for a smaller development.

Still, good news anyway. And at least it's an update.

Apparently they found it, but Beard and Redknapp had already emptied it.
