It was dodgy for a variety of reasons, including the relationship between West Ham's Olympic project director and an executive at the OPLC. The same executive was also paid by the club for consultancy work. Newham Council taking out a £40m loan while cutting costs and services to back the bid, the total lack of transparency... the whole thing's as bent as hell. Why Arsenal fans seem so happy to back it is beyond me, but at least there's a few of you that are sensible enough to see the problems with it.
