Same again or change one or two?

The front three virtually pick themselves. Cant see DA changing anything there.

Midfield M.Vila is a certain. What of the other two? Toi needs the game time and likely to start. Will he stick with Gomez or will Catts/Larsson or Rodwell get the nod?

Now the back four. Well Kaboul was fantastic v spurs so is a cert. O.Shea mor than likely. But now we have the other two places. PVA and Jones(again)? Or will this spurs lad Yedin get a start?

    Yedin rb pva lb.
    Yedin rb jones lb

Or can yedin also play lb with jones rb?

Against Tottenham, I thought Jones done a little bit better than ****e this time. I think he will retain his place.

I wish we had back-up for PVA, I really do. He needs competition for his place because for whatever reason he's having a nightmare this season and doesn't look a premiership player. He's a liability for us.

Ola and M'Vila will start, the other place is anybody's guess. My personal preference is Rodwell at the moment, I think his game will improve and we will see more of the 10m player we signed when he's in amongst the quality we have now.

Whoever we pick they will have to be on it from the first whistle, they like to play football and are a bit like Leicester and start well, they only have 4 points themselves so although this is only game 6 into the season is it a six pointer already.?.

Wouldn't call it a six pointer yet but certainly they are the type of team we should measure ourselves against, just like Leicester and Norwich. We are however looking in the right direction at least now.

Whatever team we put out, Bournemouth are going to fancy their chances against us and will see it as a big opportunity for 3 points at home.

We need to show them you can take nowt for granted in this league.

An unchanged side for me this weekend.

I would also go with Rodwell, big midfield and bully them. They are at home so will want to attack and play football. We should counter attack, with our front 3 and Toi to hold the ball up we could really hurt them.

Gomez was decent but I think Rodwell will be keen to get his place back and we might see the best from him. Out of the following:

    Rodwell
    Catts
    Gomez
    Larsson

For me Rodwell has the most ability and potential he just needs to turn up and find his form.

I wouldn't rule out Yedlin at RB and Jones shifting to the left. If Jones' defensive work is better than PVA's at the moment, moving him there would take some tracking back work off Borini. We wouldn't be losing a lot of attacking power. Yedlin would provide it on the right instead of PVA doing it on the left. The only question in that is Yedlin's defensive ability. I haven't seen enough of him.

That is a problem in itself though, Relic. We need both full backs pushing on to give the team balance and more attacking options. Otherwise the opposition will just kill off the only wing we are attacking down.

Well, in an ideal world, you're right. But if we can improve the LB defensive position, it releases more of Borini's forward efforts on the left. I think Yedlin will play one half. He needs match fitness, and the sooner we've got them all up to scratch, the better.

I think we will stick with PVA but play Yedlin on the right, insane amount of pace.

Make no mistake this is a massive game for us as a lot of this positivity will go if we get turned over.

I fancy us, I just think a win is coming and I don't rate them defensively.

    I'd play Rodwell for Gomez.

Team pretty much the same for me, maybe PVA needs one off to sort himself but not sure who covers? What,s the right winger for Bournemouth like?

I forgot that Yedlin couldn't play because it was Spurs on Sunday.

I'd like to see the lad get 45 minutes in at the weekend. After seeing that video of him I'll probably need to watch the game in slow motion when he's on the ball.

Ritchie mate. I've got him in my dream team as well the right back Francis. Both players are direct and will look to get at us quickly down the right side, both got quite a few assists last season. Potentially dangerous.

Same again for me, and I would settle for a draw tbh. even though we could do with the win, I think it will be a couple more games before we are ready to do somebody some serious damage.

we must start fast as Bournemouth will be like Leicester and have a go from the start, if we match that we should win.

We do, of course, have a current Swedish international right back on our books, who might be worth a shout in the tougher games ( which ever ones they are).

I think that would be a big kick in the balls for Jones - coming off probably his best performance for us he gets dropped?

I honestly wouldn't change any of them - Same 11 start!

My mate (at work) told me yesterday that Rodwell is injured for 3 months but I can't find anything to back that up (well... other than the fact that it's Jack Rodwell!) - he's in the office in the next half hour or so, so I'll ask him

Edit: He's just got here and he may have said Rodwell but he meant Wilshere - one of us has got confused!!
