Didn't rain... But did take me an hour and 40 minutes to get to work (normally takes 45 mins). Took me 50 mins to get to the end of my road which is a mile long Mainly due to road still being closed because of the plane crash last month... I want to moan but feel bad doing so given 11 people died in it
Yeah, terrible thing. How come it's taking so long to open it up again- is there an ongoing investigation at the site? From what I remember of the area, diversions must be a bit tricky.
I think they are repairing the road more than investigating at the moment. Obviously the impact had huge damage to the road/barrier/traffic lights Etc. diversions are goin one of two ways, unfortunately most people are going along sea front road which is where I am so getting around there is a nightmare.
This country is **** at roadworks though. obvs shoreham is an exceptional situation but generally it takes so ****ing long for them to complete the work, was some gas pipe replacement work near me recently which meant they closed a long section of dual carriageway causing a long queue. I drive that road almost every day and for weeks there was never anything going on where they'd put the fences up and dug two massive holes, no matter what time of day. Finished it now but it took forever, same with all of em
The coast road near me tunnels through 2 mountains in a 5 mile stretch. Work is almost continuous on it and one lane or other is closed for about 20 -25 weeks every year. The council is single-handedly keeping the traffic cone industry alive.
That reminds me of the other thing that massively pisses me off on the roads (amongst several billion other things) When the resurfacing crews are coming out on the m'way in the evening and they turn the ****ing warning / advisory signs on and temp speed limits on well before there's any lads on the carriageway or work going on nevermind a fecking cone !!

What, from Taurine ?! ****. I drank an extra large can last week does that make me an sexshual abusher of animalias ?!
This is a recycled story from years ago, and I think it's an urban myth. Taurine is an organic molecule so named because it was first discovered in oxen. It exists naturally in many species, including humans. I believe the stuff in energy drinks is synthetic, but I don't care because I never touch such things anyway.
