    Newcastle looked aweful all game , can't see Steve McLaren lasting till Christmas if they carry on like that

    Liking the fact Newcastle and Sunlan are propping up the Prem.

    Their "we deserve success, we're a huge club" fan mentality is matched only by Leeds and Liverpool.

    Only ten shots so far this season and six of them from a right back. <yikes>

    The players all had to walk a mile to the game last night, after getting stuck in traffic, no great hardship for professional athletes, but it's hardly the best preparation for a match.

    I was surprised that Newcastle's request for a 15 minute delay was denied.

    The power of TV I guess.



    It wouldn't have made a ha'porth of difference, mind.
