Random Saturday Loan watch update - off the top of my head. Lloyd Jones played for Blackpool and got a yellow card as they drew 1-1. Harry Wilson was an unused sub for Crewe Ryan Kent played the whole 90 for coventry Ojo started for Wolves and came off with 20 to go Canos came off of the bench for Brentford and had an immediate impact setting up the equalizer. Brentford went on to win. Vigoroux and Jordan Williams both played the 90 for swindon as they lost 1-0. Aston Villa didnt play Illori as they plan on getting him cheap
Ilori wasn't even in the squad again... Hope there is a clause that we can recall him. Whaa as the point in loaning him out to a club that won't play him
Good for canos, hope he has a good impact he's look exciting when ever I've seen him play for under 21s
Rodgers has had the brnch varnished with the same he uses for his teeth. Nearly bankrupt the club. He doesnt want any stubbly portuguese arses damaging the paintwork........its the only explanation
So the moral of this thread is; when players move away from Rodgers they are able to show what the can do playing in the right positions and actually play well?
on loan at deportivo and has started well. Wush Teixeira was on loan also as he stood out preseason and is now rotting with us.
I know It is crap but I actually look forward to seeing how the loan players are doing more than watching us. We are consistantly underwhelming
I think Tex will follow the footsteps of Suso. Unfortunately he plays in a position where he have a few people vying for the spot, our best player being one. More wasted potential.
I agree completely. What winds me up Is that when coutinho is out BR still wont give him a go. If he doesnt get a game wednesday it is truly over unless rodgers leaves. Shameful thing is he can add creativity and keep couts on his toes
Whenever he's been given the chance the lad has done alright. He's versatile too, play him a bit deeper, or on the left and let him drift in to space. I like Rossiter but I personally think Tex deserves a chance ahead of him but then again I suppose I don't know what goes on behind closed doors.
Tex was stand out player for Brighton last year in a side that really struggled... he started really well, drifted out a bit but then started to do well again before he broke his leg. He has talent for sure
Tex is a CM - we definitely need a player like him in that position. Our midfield is so weak and it's an area that Rodgers has neglected pretty much every season. Rodgers is only concerned with attack - look at how much of the £300m he has spent on that one area of the pitch compared to the rest.
I know he's not on loan but Manquillo has enjoyed a good start at Marseille. Still think it's incredible that we didn't keep him - think he's a very talented defender.
