Yep. He would undoubtedly bring back more creativity then we have now. He would certainly be a lot better than Davis in the number 10 role.

Stop being so sensible. I far prefer him as a pantomime villain than as a player!

If Lallana gave a grovelling apology and took a substantial cut in wages, I would accept him back as he would add some value and creativity in the squad but will never happen as he appeared to really p*ss our management team off with his appalling behaviour

    Taking away the emotion

I do think we miss his drive on the ball. Picking it up in midfield and running directly at the opposition.
Manè does it, but no one else in the squad does.

But that's just one aspect. I'm not sure he would create or score more than Tadic this season.

At the moment, this is all hypothetical, but if he continues to struggle to make an impact at Liverpool I can see them selling him for considerably less than what they bought him for.

No way. Lallana has blown it at Liverpool simply because he is a confidence player. His confidence will be shot and he won't be the player, even for us, that he was. Element of surprise is gone. He reached his level with us, and he won't reach it again for anyone.

Lallana used to frustrate me more often than not when he was here. Very capable of moments of brilliance but usually chose not to demonstrate it in favour of doing his 90th Cruyff turn of the game. I'm not massively fussed about how he left or whatever, I just don't think he would improve us that much, if at all.

It's not a two minute hate. People still really dislike him because they feel they were conned and betrayed. They put an emotional investment into him and he rejected it. Then we have the clear example set by the club. They quite obviously didn't like his manner of forcing his transfer.

On a personal level I treat it as a bit of a joke. I may come across as the same above [what with renaming his Pro-Evo character Twatbeard], but back when he left I had the quick shot of anger and betrayal, and instead of pretty much instantly getting over it, I decided to enjoy it and develop it. I don't give a **** whether it's unfair or whatever, I like playing around with it. It's something I don't normally do and it does him no harm. As for his ability to improve the team, when he left we needed him. But we quickly replaced him with a player or players who can be just as creative. Having him back wouldn't improve us [that's my only real objection]. If he would improve us I'd have him back in a heart beat. Suitably chastised and very much cheaper, of course. :)

This will be his last season at Anfield as Brenda's days are numbered and if Klopp takes his place as per the latest media campaign, he has no chance as the new manager will bring in a load of new German league players to get them out the mess they are now in.
Probably end up at West Ham or similar mid table team that pays top wages despite their position

Which is about his level, tbf the majority of Liverpool fans are right about him, he is brilliant to watch as he has loads of flair and is comfortable on the ball. But when you look at what he actually contributes it is very little apart from slowing play down and holding onto the ball for too long. Definitely not good enough for a side supposedly trying to get into the trop 4

Well, what do you do when you're injured.? You advertise Nivea. I'd do it, you'd do it. :)

People have mentioned we have no game changers and Lallana would fit that bill. In my opinion we have a very good replacement in Tadic except RK seems to prefer him on the right for god knows what reason. No, I don't think having Lallana back, no matter what the wages were, would improve our current side one iota. As others have said he fancied he was better off football wise and money wise by joining the scousers then so be it, leave him to stew.

I don't think he will add that much tbh. In his last season for us:
    Lallana
    Played: 38
    Scored: 9
    Assists: 8

Compare that to Tadic's first season:
    Played: 31
    Goals: 4
    Assists: 8

Davis isn't a Lallana replacement they play in very different positions. It's bit like me saying Mata offers far more the Morgan for United. Even tho they play different roles.

Davis best stats in Prem for us:
    Played: 34
    Scored: 2
    Assists: 7

Lallana would never play in the disciplined way Davis plays. He would wonder about leaving our midfield very weak.

We could really do with a midfielder who scores goals, whether Lallana could be depended upon for that is debatable.

He has such smooth and hydrated skin, and such a fashionable twatbeard, we should take him back in an instant, as some of our players need his valuable advice on skin care, and grooming products.

On the footballing side there is no place in our squad for someone who showed such disloyalty, as there would be a risk that he would do it again.

    There's a number
I was surprised to notice a number of YouTube tutorials on how to create a Lallana haircut; including one video that has nearly 500k views(!?) and is a veritable nerve-centre for debating the little hair hat he sports....
