    IMO his best days are behind him, and he's got a dodgy attitude. I'd let him go to Cardiff.

    He hasn't scored a goal since 2005, is the wrong side of 30 and missed 20 months out with injuries a couple of years ago. Even West Ham don't want him.

    Scraping the bottom of the barrel frankly.

    If this is true my worst fear is confirmed. I dreaded this moment since i first read he was a free agent some three-four months ago. How he has EVER been allowed to play in the Prem has always baffled me?! <yikes>

    He would be no more than sixth choice centreback, so whats the :emoticon-0183-swear point???

    All part of NW's master plan to leave the goons with a ticking timebomb of potential crock liabilities (Dyer, Gabbidon and possibly Bullard, Hargreaves and Upson) and head-cases (Taarabt and Bothroyd) before sauntering off into the sunset.

    so if we do sign him (which we won't), that'll be goodness knows how many players we have that have had long periods out. We already have Cook, Rowlands, Buzsaky, Kenny, Dyer, Mackie, have I missed any out?

    Warnock said on Talksport last week that he wouldn't go for Hargreaves as Dyer was enough of a risk, I don't think Gabbidon would improve us so I would think he's unlikely to come to us.

    Was a very good player in the Championship, and showed glimpses last year at West Ham (housemate is a hammers fan) but is very injury prone. Can play at right back however. There are other and better free transfers out there (Upson)..
