Have decided to play in this years Sun newspaper dream team but am struggling for a decent choice of centre backs- any suggestions from regular entrants? Cheers billionth- already had Hangeland but as a full back. Had been leaning towards Kompany and also Lescott before but big teams and their rotation policies were turning me off! Samba has been a revelation for Blackburn and a great reminder of what can be picked up by a savvy manager without spending 20 million, but it's the likelihood of his fellow defenders helping concede 7 in the odd game that I don't like. Perhaps if he moves on he'd be top of the list. Shall ponder some more...
Fear not Goldcoast, I've always disapproved of it's comic book style of reporting, so don't purchase it even before it's much mocked ignorant coverage of the Faurlin saga.
