so Brucey kept mentioning to his staff "There's something not quite right with Jake..." during his dip in form last year, didn't anybody say' hmmm maybe, just maybe boss, the fact that he lost his first born recently could have something to do with it do you think?' I struggle to understand how it never seem to have occurred to the staff that Jake may have needed some professional psychological / emotional support after such a traumatic event. What an emotionally stunted world is football...
Having listened to SB presser, credit to him saying he could have done more, and said he hadn't realised that Jake's dip in form was related to a personal tragedy. Also credit to Assam Allam for taking the time to go a meet Jake personally, for the most past IMO City have handled this quite well. Makes you wonder whether this situation was also affecting Huddlestone last season, as I am sure he also knew what Jake was going through.
why was jake just left to do his own thing after the test was positive.he should of been training with the team, if he had been he could be playing today, no one knew what the outcome from the f.a.was going to be. yes city may of thought he might get a long ban,but in the end he never. he shouldn't of been just tossed to the side to sort it out on his own. yes i know what he did was wrong but i think city should of done more for him,

He was suspended, that meant he couldn't play or train with the team, it wasn't a choice the club made. Not giving him more support away from the club was something that the club obviousy now regret, but there was nothing they could do about the playing side of things.
Me too but I've learned to ignore it and treat the ****s that do it with the contempt that they deserve. The same applies to twats that leave a space between the end of a sentence and a full stop/question mark/exclamation mark.
There's a few of those, very similar writing styles & very similar views. They even like each other's posts. There's also a few who leave no space between a comma & the start of the next word. Similar writing style & again very similar views. All purely coincidental I'm sure.
lol yes i get it i just read it back to myself.i just write it as it comes into my head.probably why i don't put many post on here lol anyway i got one of the answers i was looking for.and yes olm they should of looked after him more off the field.
The trouble is that football is the ultimate results driven business and when you're focussing on that, other things get lost. Bruce was under immense pressure too. A good lesson to learn for all at the club I hope. Just wonder how Livermore feels about about the club now.
