On this fairly boring week of international football, thank goodness for a football quiz. Well here's three pretty hard ones [imo] from The Guardian: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/aug/19/football-quiz-geography http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/sep/07/football-quiz-country-of-birth http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/sep/02/transfer-quiz-where-are-they-now I did fine [I think] on the geography [7], less so on the country of birth [5] and I'm about to try the where are they now [3] quiz. I like the fact that they sympathise with my mediocrity. Have fun scratching your head.
4/10 on geography...pretty pleased to be somewhat above random chance, having never set foot in the UK. 3/10 on places of birth. 5/10 on 'where are they now'.
8/10 on geography however the 'more than one team in a city' question said UK cities... Then missed out Glasgow, Dundee and Edinburgh in the answers, listing only English ones, so I'm claiming that one! Living near Rushden helps and knowing where the 'Diamonds ' in the name came from.
Place of birth one was annoying. If it was which Country do they represent it would have been easy. But no. 3/10 for that 5/10 for geography 4/10 for where are they now Failed
Exactly. and they had to say UK otherwise they'd have had people from Berwick emailing. That particular question got me. I got all the cities cities correct bar one and forgot about the potteries. And like FLT, I thought about the UK element but came to the correct solution. Still didn't get the answer right though.! I think I right in saying that they're fairly difficult quizzes.
Yeah Tom. I used to tell my mum how well I did at PE when she asks she about my school results..... #ignorethebadones.
