Given the choice what would you prefer to happen in this situation.

Either having Adel stay with us for atleaset one more season. But with no money for transfers. So we can only get by with freebies and loans.

Or selling Adel to PSG and getting the full amount of money to splash on other areas of the squad that need improving. I know this wouldn't be the case thanks to the goons but I am intrested to know peoples views on this.

No surprises from me, I'd keep him. I still think he is our best hope at staying up.

I don't think it would make much difference. IMO we need to spend the cash AND keep Taarabt to stay up.

Best scenario would be to sell him to PSG for loads of money, give him 5 weeks to piss them off (or him to get pissed off with them) and arrive back ringing Neil's doorbell and we take him on loan for the rest of the season paying him at his current wage with PSG making up the rest.

Taarabt's our main asset on the pitch. With Bothroyd there it would make us more of a force with the possibility of goals against the run of play. Blackpool needed Adam around to keep things working.

If I had my way, Taarabt to stay as long as poss..

This 1 is spot on er shouldn't be looking to sell and we should still have enough funds to strengthen.

Obviously Taarabt is our best player and I'd really like to have seen what he could do in the Premiership (preferably for us). If I thought that the money from selling him would go back into the transfer kitty then I would have been a bit more ambivalent about whether we should sell. However, with these owners I wouldn't expect to see that money ever again. For that reason as much as any other I personally would like to see him stay.

if he was in the leeds team and i could get 5m for him i'd take that money any day of the week, especially for a club that are going to be in the premier league and to be honest fighting for survival, you cannot afford to have a luxury player like taarabt, he doesnt do enough for the team...im not trying to be a WUM but seriously selling him and putting it in other areas is by far the best thing that could happen out of the situation you guys find yourself in although from what i've heard the money may not go back into the transfer funds

It is quite easy to say that we shouldn't sell him but the guy doesn't want to stay. He wants to make it in a big, iconic club like a Man U or a Barcelona. I am sure that his advisers think that a move to PSG is a very nice money earner and the first of many as he tries to fulfil his ambition.

If he wants to leave and is prevented from doing so there could be all sorts of problems.

It is not just a case of making him stay, it is a case of making him WANT to stay.

I am sure that it would be in his best interest in the long run to stay with QPR and Warnock for the year. Unfortunately the lure of the really big time and really big money, coupled with the agent's desire to make a bundle on any deal, will scupper that.

If I were Briatore I would sell. I am sure that Briatore is fully aware of Adel's feelings and desires (no doubt he receives daily calls from Adel's agent!).

I hate it, but sell him. Take the money and move on.

Whether the money generated from his transfer will be made available is an entirely different story.

well if we sell him the goons won't let warnock have the funds so we might as well try & keep him but the he has got to change his attitude.
