    Nelson ! REALLY ?
Did what he had to do - but - surely the likes of Osedebe and Wright did more.

ps - what's happened to the 'Star Player' thread ?

I think Nelson got it for his kicking today and he did make 2 very good saves.
Jackson was MOM for me causing havoc every time he went forward

Back in the North these days so didn't see anything of today's game, but I did see Jackson at Bradford and at home to Wigan and was very impressed on both occasions.

I thought Jackson was clear MOM for me, a constant outlet for us and never stopped running. Nelson as MOM suggests we were on the back foot all game which was simply not the case.

Perhaps because he was lacking sleep all week due to him becoming a father for the first time? He was solid when he needed to be, particularly with Loft as a centre back. Speaking of Loft, I thought he did very well on Saturday, not only did he link well with Garmston, a left footed player to make clearances in that corner was useful. I think for his first full 90 this season Loft's input was MoM worthy, particularly out of position as he was.

Norris was NEVER going to get it. I probably need to apologise for 'jinxing' Norris as he signed programs before the game started. I wished him a good game - but asked if he could keep the ball under the crossbar - and that I wouldn't ask him to head the ball.

I think he knew I was kidding - but -

In view of the trajectory of His free kick - and then hobbling off, I can't help feeling a little guilty that I may have 'messed with his head'. I promise to keep smartarse comments to our players unsaid in the future.
