Alright lads? I saw this on the Newcastle and the Sunderland board and I thought it could be a good idea for us Liverpool fans to do. Link: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ I've never done Fantasy football before but was wondering if any Liverpool fans on here are interested in doing a private league for the season coming up. Maybe do a 'Liverpool Not606' league? Thoughts?
Definately! I did one about 3 years ago on AOL.com and came 7th for one week! I'v been meaning to do it again. So count me in! Who else?
People always want to do these sort of things, the idea of beating fellow members at something always catches the attention of people on the forum
True. It's difficult remembering to update the quad. I remember I didnt for a month and I had an injured player in my squad the whole time! I need to watch more football, I feel I don't know as much about everyone's squad as say a couple of years back.
Has anybody done this Premier League Fantasy Football before? I haven't so I wouldn't know how to set it up.
I have, but i woudnt know to set up a private league. Shouldnt be hard though. As for the rules - they differ. AOL was your standard money allowance to pic player from, and 4 transfers a month I think it was.
Sounds good! The website does have the rules but nobody can sign up at the moment so I think we should wait if the other members want to do it and then get it sorted out when you can sign up.
Yeah, just check it daily and then edit the first post with the new league details etc.. once you can get on it.
Count me in - always adds a bit more excitement to the season. I did it last year and it's pretty simple to set up the private league. Once you've selected your team it gives you the option to either set up or join. When you set one up it gives you a pin which others then use to join the league. If it's anything like last year, you can make 1 transfer per week (or 2 if you don't make a transfrer for that week) and if you make anymore then you lose points. You do get a "wildcard" where you can make as many transfers as you like without losing points which is handy when 3 of your players get injuries at the same time!!!
im in ive been doin fantasy leagues for the past couple of seasons on the official Premier League site, its free and they give prizes monthly and for the whole season
