Just putting this out there cos I am trying to think about the possibilities for Day 5...

I am confused about the wording of this announcement. Part of it seems to be sharing instructions from earlier in the game - such as the bit about having the ability to kill Baphomet. However, other bits seem to be instructions relevant for now. The line about looking at each other to confirm we all heard the same thing seems like a clue to make sure we have heard what was said.

It says that evil must be destroyed by tonight. Is this a warning? Should we be trying to set up a lynching where everyone we suspect of being guilty or being able to harm us is killed - even maybes (including me if some still doubt me)? This would still leave the town with an almost certain advantage on day 5. Not sure how we would achieve that though - or if it is even what the message meant! Does the medium know?

It then goes on to say that Baphomet's spirit persists. What does this mean? Does it mean that any remaining evil can use his spirit to bring people back? Is this why the dead were happy? And what about the people who have said they can be both good or evil? What about one surfer needing to die? Was that a wind up by the surfers? Is this how the medium would be used?

I know it was MITO who suggested it (evil) but could there be something in the dead rising on day 5 if certain criteria haven't been met? This game has been a headfuck so far. Today seems too easy. The obvious option is to lynch one person and the most obvious person. But is this too simple?

Just putting it out there for thoughts!

 

He is town aligned and it says he can be USED by evil. I don't think he wins if evil uses him. So if evil have to use him alive to win, he should let us kill him

Obviously in the likely event that isn't the case then obviously he shouldn't
