You're making it sound like it's up to us You've made a solid start to the season, the trick now is keeping it up and having a squad that can go the distance. You've got a great stadium and a decent amount of support, plus you can take heart from clubs like ourselves and Bournemouth that unfancied teams can make it to the top flight. I don't know if you have as much quality in depth as we do, but if you've got a great attitude and team spirit then that counts for a lot. Plus an experienced manager in Houghton is vital, just take each game as it comes.

If you make it, you and your fellow genuine supporters will soon tire of the tacky premier league whores that will attach themselves to your club, placidating the atmosphere, getting in fights with seasoned supporters for blocking their view when they stand up and support the team, advocate ****ting all over your clubs century old history and heritage on the whim of a senile old man with an attitude problem so long as you stay in the premier league, applauding the likes of Stevie g and wazza every time they come over to take a corner etc., wearing half & half scarves with the enemy clubs colours and badges when the big boys visit, flock to the front of the stands with their phones taking selfies with their favourite Man Utd players in the background, turning up in the away end at Anfield wearing a half Brighton half liverpool shirt stitched together, booing their own supporters for signing the clubs name and not the senile old mans fantasy name, constantly moaning and groaning whenever a pass goes astray (specially when it's their scapegoat), booing the team off whenever they have a bit of a bad game... Etc etc. Believe me, it ain't all its cranked up to be, your in the best place there is.

I expect we'll set up in a very rigid, defensive way. Last season was a lot of 5-3-2, though I'm not sure how often we'll see it this season, since it's no longer the Prem and since it seemed to stop working. If we nick a goal we'll immediately revert to a 4-6-0 formation until you score. I personally hope we turn up with confidence in our attacking prowess, and play with pace and verve, fronting up to Brighton, believing in what we can do. Can't see it though. There won't be much in it. Reckon Bruce will play for a point, otherwise it's a tight 1-0 either way. Maybe decided late. If we can suck the life out of the game, we will! Wish Rosenior was still with us. One of my all time favourite City larkers, a true legend who loved it up here and never put a foot wrong for us. I really hope we have a go.
Party Hull! I haven't actually predicted but I would expect us to win, I'm not being big minded and Brighton or anything but we are at home, we do play 4-4-2 now and we do play a high line. With our new striker signing Diomande adding some pace and aggression to our attacking play you will have a real battle on your hands. Maloney and Diame have already refreshed our mid-field and put the slow-moving Huddlestone on the bench and Elmohamedy is one of the best wingers outside the Prem. As for our back line Dawson and Davies are arguably the best CHs in the Championship. We have a big question mark in goal but absent GK errors we stand a good chance of bringing back 3 points. It should be a very tight game but I expect a 2-1 win for the Tigers. Good luck the rest of the season. We might be playing you in the Prem next season.
