With the Victor story and what WBA say how can Levy get away with the way he conducts his business. WEST BROM STATEMENT Jeremy Peace and West Bromwich Albion have released a statement with regards to Saido Berahino and Tottenham Hotspur. Berahino earlier posted a tweet airing his discontent after the club rejected Spurs' third and fourth bids for the striker. Peace said: “We have a key player who has been very unsettled by antics which were designed to get him out of our club cheaply. "Those tactics have continued despite my making our position clear in my first conversation with Daniel Levy on this subject in mid-August. I said selling Saido so late in the window was not on our agenda. “Saido has been unsettled to the point where our Head Coach has not felt able to select him for our last three games. We are now left with the task of repairing the damage created by this unfortunate episode.”
He's a bit of a toad isn't he. Hopefully Spurs finish bottom half and are made a mockery of even more.
Spurs and Chelsea are vermins within English football. Neither have any honour or respect whatsoever.
While I wish no harm on Kane, I am praying things go against Tottenham for them to finish well below their usual top 6.
Unsettling players shouldn't be allowed! This was blatant unsettling and should be looked into. Allowing this type on going on just doesn't help anyone, the player, club, fans or football in general. Clubs who do that should be fined, heavily! The perceived smaller club is never going to get a chance to grow if things like that coninue
New policy for all the smaller clubs: if you deliberately and maliciously unsettle our players, we will not sell in that window, to any club. However, in the next window, the player will be offered at reasonable terms to every club with which you maintain a bitter rivalry, plus the teams directly above and below you in the table. Want Arsenal to get a good deal on a talented youngster? Then keep meddling.
Baffling how he is the England manager to be honest. Remember when he voted Mascherano for the Ballon D'or ahead of Messi and Ronaldo
Its probably something to do with the Masons or the New World Order. It sure as Hell is nothing to do with his footballing brain.
Levy played himself. I can't think of how any club, team, agent, or player will take him seriously after this. Obviously they already didn't, but this really kind of puts it over the top.
Ron complained that other teams tried to unsettle our players. Definitely looks like big teams try and get the price down by encouraging players to agitate for a move, especially if the original offer has been rebuffed. They couldn't deal with Nicola, but now believe we are a selling club....we are if a player is near to the end of his contract, but we have shown now we will resist if we want to keep the player. All this kerfuffle meant we had to play one game without Victor (assuming he was ill for the Europa match)....WBA have been even worse hit.
Not sure we know if they could deal with Cortese or not in the Premier League as our players only proved themselves in our second year up and he was gone halfway through that. He may have also decided the ridiculous money being offered could not be ignored, we will never know.
Made me smile with just the thought of that squirmy little ****er sat on the bog screaming his head off as the biggest hedgehog dropping out........summing up the hedgehog gave me that little bit of karma. Yes Karma is what the hedgehog has done for me lol
At least there are two good things to come out of Levy's tactics, when they backfire horribly on him like they have done in recent days: 1) Spurs are left with an inadequate squad. If Kane fails to fire like he did last season, they are screwed. And even if he does, they're still not getting CL football. And I'm sorry Poch, but Dier is no Wanyama (or Morgan). 2) We can sit back and enjoy another club's fans in MELTDOWN mode. I think it's fair to say that Spurs fans are not the happiest bunch of people right now. Such a shame.
