This is PURE guesswork from Balague. The facts are the paperwork didn't arrive on time. The rest of his guff about what Real Madrid and United are saying is just him licking his eyebrows.
00:16 FIFA TO LOOK INTO CASE Football's governing body will listen to the case put forward by the two clubs tomorrow, according to Guillem Balague La Liga says the documents did not arrive on time. Fifa will look at the case tomorrow. Both RM and United pushing for it to happen — Guillem Balague (@GuillemBalague) August 31, 2015 Could still happen!
LvG said United are the biggest club and De Gea will be staying roughly 10 days ago. Surely he's not going to look a twat (again)?
No one does. Chelsea and City bought title winning sides with 250m. LvG has spent 250m and will be lucky to get in the top 4 and out of the CL group. Joker.
Jason Burt claims LVG has lost control, did he ever have it? www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/11835607/Manchester-UCnited-selling-David-de-Gea-and-buying-Anthony-Martial-is-show-business-not-sound-business.html
250 million these days isn't what it was when Chelsea started spending, the price of players has atleast trebled, maybe even more. It's hardly like City aren't spending either this year, they must of spent nearly 150 million just this summer alone. And they haven't sold a load of players to recoup a lot of money like we have
I'm all for a bit of LVG bashing but let's be fair, Chelsea's last title, which they have already surrendered, cost £500million. City's first oil title cost £400million. I believe you are a big Peter Ridsdale fan.
If LvG spent another 150m or 250m (nearly 50 of that will be spent today on a 19 year old) would you be confident in saying you would win the title? Prices have escalated I'll give you that Shergar but let's be honest other than Schweinsteiger (well maybe a few years ago) if you were given 300m which players LvG has signed would have been in your list for top 5 in each position?
So had it confirmed MUFC did their bit & registered De Gea transfer on FIFA TMS. Real Madrid failed to register in time with LFP
Sport Witness @Sport_Witness There are claims in Turkey that Hakan Çalhanoğlu is set to become a Man United player. http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/...nited-have-signed-bundesliga-attacker-for-26m …
The money has never been the issue, it has always been the availability of the players. Persuading clubs to sell and some players to join has been more of a stumbling block than the actual money involved. We have deep pockets, so we can buy who we want if they are available
Woodward and the GGs seemed to have decided that spending big is good. Go and get the most expensive players available and create a sensation.
I think we are paying for not buying the best young players around towards the end of SAFs era, and have been panic buying ever since to try and catch up with our rivals. This was not Fergies fault, this was the money men not giving him the funds to spend
